Potion de survie: the live stream concept created by Knight Of TCG
The knight has been poisoned, and only a potion can save him. To brew it, you have to open 150 booster packs in under 2.5 hours, and every pack adds an ingredient… picked with the chat. Meet Potion de survie (“survival potion”), an original creation by Knight Of TCG, available as a HypeLayer template.

The story: a knight to save
Potion de survie turns an opening session into a rescue mission. The knight has been poisoned: on screen, a heart monitor shows how much time he has left. To save him, the streamer and their community must fill the cauldron before the countdown ends.
The challenge Knight Of TCG came up with: 150 booster packs to open in under 2.5 hours. Every pack opened adds an ingredient to the potion.
How the live plays out
The overlay brings three elements together:
- The heart monitor: a hospital-style countdown. In the last minute the screen turns red and the heart races; at zero, it flatlines.
- The cauldron: for every pack, the streamer adds an ingredient. The potion rises to the goal and changes colour once it is ready.
- The parchment: each ingredient draws a random sentence, such as “An eye of…” or “Blood of…”, completed with the name of a viewer who just wrote in the Voggt chat. The sentence shows while the ingredient drops into the cauldron.
Why chat gets hooked
Any message can land its author in the potion: chat has a reason to write and to stay. The sentences are absurd, often a little gross, and that is the point: every ingredient becomes a small shared moment.
The countdown gives the opening a tempo: everyone sees how far the potion has come and how much time is left to save the knight.
Make it fit your live
- Set the countdown’s duration and the cauldron’s goal to match your number of packs.
- Write your own ingredients and choose where the viewer’s name goes. A list of backup names takes over when nobody has written recently.
- Give each ingredient a picture: it drops into the cauldron as one big image or as a shower.
- Swap the cauldron for your own and choose where it waits on screen between two ingredients.
- Trigger “+1 ingredient” from your control workspace or from a Stream Deck.
